Nice video. Not sure, but maybe we can use potentials and symmetry instead of calculations on E vectors. ie first we work out the potential we need from q3. This tells us the distance r from A - giving us a circle around A on which we have to place q3. We also know we can replace q1 and q2 with a single charge at any point away from A on a line going through A. We calculate angle for that line as before for the e-field direction. We can then calculate r sin theta / r cos theta plus A to give q3 pos on opposite side of A.
