Hi. That salt cellar was a great purchase! The three beaded necklaces are made from beads created from wound paper. Very popular in the 1920’s and 1930’s. I have made them and created a necklace. They are tedious but not difficult to make.

They are definitely in the style of paper beads but there’s some heavy coating on them that makes them feel like plastic.

Hello! I am certain your three beaded necklaces were made in Uganda by women who need to support their families. I used to work with a woman at Johns Hopkins who would go to Uganda for business and bring back these kinds of paper necklaces and beautiful baskets to sell in the office to help support these women. After I watched your video, I went upstairs to look at a very similar necklace to doublecheck. My beads are different colors and have the little beads, and the clasp is identical! My friends and I enjoy watching your treasure finds!

Great haul! I agree with another comment, the necklaces are paper. Lots made in African countries. Love the brush, been thinking about wanting to collect something new maybe that will be it. Especially after you showed how you displayed them. Always love your displays and hauls!
