George, LOVE your videos and your knowledge! Someone may have said this already, but that silver fade glassware is Vitreon Queen’s Lusterware, not Dorothy Thorpe. It gets misattributed so much online. DT is sterling and doesn’t fade downward. There are quite a few third party companies that made platinum-banded, silver banded wares. The ones we see the most are Vitreon.

Thank you for telling me that! I really thought hers had a different quality, it honestly was not the thing I look for when Iook for her stuff and I didn't realize Vitreon did those. Will pin this comment if I can so others see it

Thank you AGAIN George … great content video . I’m Junk Drunk ! My all time favorite video . To me it’s all about the hunt … finding a treasure in an unlikely venue is more exciting to me as a collector ( I’m not a reseller where it’s important to have inventory ) . When I go to an antique mall / show I expect to find “ something “ . Exploring somewhat unlikely places and scoring a treasure is much more memorable . In my own experience I’ve found some of my favorites 0:15 in odd ball locals … pristine Lefton Christmas Girl planter in a tool shed . Thank you George for your generous sharing of All your knowledge / information … your vast knowledge is amazing

I am so in agreement! I'm glad you get to shop as a collector, I remember when I only thought of my own tastes and needs, and put together a pretty cool home...a few pieces have been around a long time now! Tool sheds can be great, I don't get it but I've found a lot of goodies in them, my best was a 1930s Buck Rogers die cast spaceship in its original box! I'm glad you're enjyoing this like I am.

Good evening, George. It never ceases to amase me at how some of the mid-century items will outprice the older, "more dignified" items. Then there are things like the Czech glass that is always quality, no matter when it was made. I liked that portrait bowl, behind the Belleek pieces. I'd love rummaging through that junk shop. I'm not too big on the 1970s table 😂, but there were some areas there that did get my interest. Always fun to shop with you and see what you find! Thanks for the take along!

Speaking of the Clothspin Water sprinkler. I still remember my mother trying to teach me how to sprinkle with Out making wet spots on the clothes.
