About 40yrs ago my ex took me to PaloAlto.where the ORIGINAL posters were displayed...they were HUGE..amazing.....and nobody was there( at least at the time)....l love his work...my favorite vintage artist....and the film by John Houston.MOULIN ROUGE....was visually and artistically wonderful..however much was fiction...but a MUST SEE!

If I recall what I’ve read correctly ; the artist did have quite a mouth on him. His tongue lashings got him in to considerable with his patrons throughout his entire life.
Same problem as Van Gogh which she alludes to at 41:01.

It is so weird to see all these women at the dance clubs and know that they were considered to be "fallen women & prostitutes", they were mainly working class women and many wealthy men willing to spend some cash to have fun. So what do they call these men, I would like to know?

And van Gogh too. And Degas. And speak in a softer voice.
