These guys are making more shots mid-range. Not jacking up a 3 and missing so many baskets. And the pace of these young guys are what made the 80's so good. Fast paced and lots of buckets from layups and midrange shots that are higher percentage shots compared to a 24-foot jumper. I hate today's game.

Dominique was always my second favourite player. Just behind Shawn Kemp. Would have been amazing to see MJ and Wilkins go at it live. Both scorers and both showmen.

That's why you see them playing defense. The defenses are closer together instead of being stretched out by 40-50 3pt FGA per game

1987-88 Bulls Before Cartwright, Corzine, Oakley, Sellers, Sam Vincent, Sedale Threatt... Sellers had a nice jumper and great height, Sedale Threatt had some nice handles and crossovers. He could get to the cuo and had nice speed. Bulls won 50 games in 87-88. They were truly elite by the 1989 ECF but 87-88 was a nice first step 🪜 up the ladder.

Atlanta never once was able to get Dom a complimentary player that could score the ball! They relied to much on him and inevitably the Hawks always came up a little short!

Regardless of the winner between this match between bulls and hawks, the bulls have more teamwork with Jordan as their go to guy for clutch scoring and added points making while the Hawks uses Wilkins as their main scorer wherein their offense rotates around him. Different coaching styles with the goal to win. That's the early Bulls rosters.

I'd rather watch this over today's clown NBA game. College isn't too bad still because they're more disciplined but nobody wants to see 40 3pt FGA in a game. Clown show. Thats what stretches the defense out so much and it's why nobody plays defense anymore. 2010 - Present is the weakest era in NBA History

He'll possibly be an elite player but doubt he'll average that amount. The overall talent and skillsets of today's players + team schemes are better now compare to Dominique's era when there were just a handful of skilled players
