To everyone. . . I'm not sure what the laws are in your state or province, but it may vary as to whether the "carrier box" must have working brake and signal lights. It would be best to contact your local law enforcement office and inquire before you take the road trip. I live in Ontario Canada and they are sticky here on regulations. Therefore, depending on where you travel this might or might not be okay. If you could change the angle of the hitch, you should have better visibility as a driver (plus the camera) and the person behind you - to see all of your lights. I know this requires a modification to the hitch itself, but from the side view (7:37 mark ) on your video, it looks possible to change the angle and re-weld it. You would still have lots of ground clearance. Plus if it was also on a 90 degree, it would be easier to modify the rack for bicycles too. (just a thought)

How exactly did you connect the USB cable to the 4pin connector?
