@@IvanBustos The point is pretty obvious so I didn't expect further clarification was necessary but the simple answer is: on avg. housing prices have and continue to increase significantly relative to earnings, meaning less total people can afford a house than previously. Other reasons are population increases, city-centric work and the sustainability plan (moving rural populations to urban), among others.
@australianpatriot

@@IvanBustos The fact you and individuals in your circle bought homes means nothing. This is an anecdotal perspective for starters but more importantly, whilst some millennials can (obviously) afford a home and will continue to purchase homes from now into the future, the idea is less millennials will be home owners than any other recent generation and from this point onwards, that is a likely trend to continue.

Has the bed gotten to be more stable or does it still wobble like that? I am on the market for a new bed myself and like the Thuma design, but for $900 USD for a queen size (price went up recently) the bed should not budge.

I’m wondering the same thing. I’m guessing it’s due to the construction with how it fits together with no screws. It seems like when he was jumping and flopping on it, it didn’t wobble but moving the frame did. I’m trying to look for some long term reviews on it.

i love mine, highest quality bed ive ever owned. Nothing like other slat beds, the slats have felt fabric on the ends of them, so they are padded and dont make noise, and they make different accessories for the bed that match. There is a fabric sleeve that can hold a laptop / books / your glasses off the side of the bed, or they make night stands that match... i have the nightstand too. All of their stuff is super solid and will last a looooong time

I just made one of these for my daughter. It also wobbles a little bit. I don’t feel nearly as bad now that I see the Thuma bed also wobbles. For those of you wondering about the wobbles, it’s the design of the bed that causes this. The parts fit together fairly tightly, but can’t be too tight, otherwise they would be harder to assemble/disassemble. The small gaps in the joints translate to wobble with the application of horizontal force. Sort of a trade off for not having more hardware to hold it together

I've seen many advertisements promoting the Thuma bed frame and I've read a few reviews. The bed frame seems excellent in every way except for the price. It is outrageously expensive! Also, like many people have said, why must we also purchase the head board? I'm afraid it's because of the hefty cost and no standalone bed frame option that I will have to pass on this purchase. I'm not writing to bitch and complain. I'm writing because I know that the Thuman bed frame is an excellent product and I want Thuma to succeed. All the best.
