All VORs identify them selves, either by Morse Code or verbally with their 3 letter identifier. Some do both. Before using it for navigation it needs to be identified.

From the direction of windsock, it seems that the Drukair A230neo performed a tailwind approach, which I used to think that it is not allowed in Paro due to short runway

Good observations! I agree that a tailwind can affect performance, especially at an airport like Paro. However, Runway 33 has a slight uphill gradient, and they usually accept up to a 5-knot tailwind, depending on the aircraft’s landing weight. For your information, I checked the METAR when the aircraft landed: VQPR 140500Z 18003KT 130V230 8000 FEW020 SCT030 OVC055 21/16 Q1018. It didn’t seem that windy based on the report. Anyway, thanks for following and sharing your thoughts!
