@@stephensnell1379 we have historically had hurricanes, and as the world is getting warmer due to climate change, scientists and well known weather researchers have also been studying the face hurricanes could possibly become a new threat to the UK as it warms up.

I think that, in future, it should be a “weather prediction” or “indication” rather than a forecast. Given that you say in so many forecasts that it is “something we need to keep an eye on!” No mention of any probability of a “storm” yesterday or the past few days! Forecasting in finance, and in weather are two completely different things, and you could never be that “vague” in forecasting a company’s profits!

@@cmcofficial1964 I appreciate it developed very quickly, but surely the “well-paid” folks in the Met Office must have had some idea with all their technology of what was approaching the U.K., otherwise what is the point of forecasting organisations. It seems more important to them that they have a “named storm” to talk about. Did they forecast the recent “flash floods” in the South of the country? Practically every video, Alex Deakin says there is “something we need to keep an eye on”.

@@lesfuller5984 it’s meteorology mate, a storm that could be forecasted to hit Ireland could change tracks with in 10 minutes And yes they did forecast thé flash flooding in the south as thunderstorm warnings where issued

Weather forecasting for this little floating turd of island in the North Sea can be summed up as follows...Winter freezing rain and winds, Summer...warm rain and winds...enuff said!
