Doing 1 year, 2 year, 3 year later reviews would really fit the motif of quality rugged things, since my guess would be that people who watch this channel are interested in acquiring items that will last them for a long time.

These "1 year later" videos are the best. Especially because you get to see what you can expect from an investment like these boots. Fast fashion goods are predictable in that you know that one day you'll most likely replace them. Quality goods, like a good pair of leather boots, age with you, and it's important to know you made the right choice.

I was wondering when we were going to see this. I have purchased and returned 3 Thursday boots (as new). All of them seemed lacking and I suspected this after a year and didn't want to invest in a mid range boot that wouldn't last (see Whites boots, Allen Edmonds [although quality control has been bad!]... much better quality). It seems that Thursday has hit the KZitem men's fashion influencers very hard but I was skeptical and kinda smelled a promo rat. I appreciate this very honest review. I think I am headed to another wolverine 1000 only in shell brown and a Role Club bespoke black shell (yeah, I know...$$$$). Sizing has been interesting as I found that I had to use my Brannock size as going down half a size didi not work. As for quality control I have had no issues. I did notice that my last two buys the diplomat and wing tip seem of a better quality and fit than prior purchases. It seems to me the boots are getting better. But this is just my experience.

Picked up a pair of Thursday Titans, far too early for me to comment on long term quality but initial impressions are very positive. In regards to how long I expect these to last, I would say over a decade, easy. If it doesn't I will be very disapointed. And you may go, a decade, that's insane. No, I bought a pair of Doc Martins for 200, I dont drive, I walk everywhere, I bought those about 20 years ago and just replaced them this week and they never visited a cobbler. Granted Im probably right at the threshold of breaking through the last of the rubber on the outsole but there's really no reason for these boots not to last forever if they're made well. And we all know Doc Martins are not exactly known for their high quality leather, British version or not.

You could, but the insole isn't removable without a razor knife and screwdriver. So if you don't want to cut it out the only solution is to put an insole on top of the existing one. This would effectively raise the "floor" of the boot and give you less room, which may be preferred in a boot that fits large but mine are pretty snug.

Any experience with Frye Chelsea boots? Debating whether they're worth the extra hundred over these.

I don’t have any experience with them, but several other people in the comments are fans. I’d say if you’re looking at the $300 price point to keep an eye out for some Liverpool seconds, they’re gorgeous and made exceptionally well.

They have a leather insole which is far better and will conform to your foot over time.

I am a US 13 in sneakers. Should i size down and go for a US 12,5 or 12 in Thursday boots?
@CarlMurawski

You would use your dress shoe size which is typically 1 size smaller.

Bought a pair. Liked everything about it, except for the shape of the boot. I prefer a more chiseled toe box, but the toe box of these boots were decent as well. The boots are a bit straight on the side for my liking. I'm not totally into these boots, so I ended up getting a pair of Carlos Santos for maybe $120 more.

Your boots show a sign of not using shoe trees and sporadic polishing...

no one gonna use polising or shoe trees on the shoes that they use everyday and beat it up in rain or casual walk? As he said, he gonna buy a new pair if this one worn out.

@@nguyenphamkhoi3012 actually that's not true. You should polish your shoes and use shoe trees even if its a daily shoe. A pair of boots should last you at least 3 or 4 years

@@theblacktieguy6694 I could understand that if you had quality shoes, my allen edmonds are in trees for sure. But a pair of thursday boots you can get for 150 bucks? 3-4 years is the most you are going to get out of their stuff if you wear it daily regardless of what you do to maintain it.

They look great with shorts 😆 I don't get why someone should try to save up only less than 100 dollars and buy a Chinese or Mexico made crap over a Wolverine or Red Wing product ... If you can not effort them then just buy a cheap sneaker from Ross or Marshall and save up for a good boot 😆 I own 4 pairs of American made boots and they feel great. They look awesome and I still get daily complements after years since I have purchased them. Have you ever opened the KZitem and saw an ad by Red wing, Allen Edmonds or Wolverine. No coz these companies have their customers and don't try to advertise for people who don't have any knowledge about leather and different lasts and boot related terms. But just type the word, boot in search bar and you will see a Thursday boot ad popping up. All they say is that their boots are under 200 dollars. Well you can find boots under 40 dollars but you will wear them for one day and give up on all boots world 😆

Everybody act gangsta until the boots from a 6 year old company with a huge online marketing campaign fall apart. Spend 100+ more and invest in a proper pair of boots that actually are worth resoling and will last you at least a decade.

My brand new Thursday boots - that were ordered directly from Thursday - were sub par quality. The leather had a bunch of imperfections. I don't think it's correct of them to send product that should never have passed quality control (in hopes that you keep it). There's a lot of unsubstantiated internet hype surrounding this company. It's likely best just to save up and buy a quality boot.

I couldn’t agree more, I’ve seen a lot of disappointing posts about Thursday and their quality control. Even some where instead of “Made in small batches” it said “made in small baths”.
