You have reset the logic by powering off and on and haven't fixed the fault as such

Hi Andy howbto manually winding the stairlift when the lift has got.no power? Also when doing manual winding how to remove the break? I can't wind it because i believe some break is engaged. Thanks

You can't manually wind a Flow 2. If it's pre 2017/16 you can access the service board put it in mode 3 and control it from the grey arrows. This is all located when you take the white front cover off. Grab it by the sides and just yank it off. Switching it on and off (red button ) does actually clear a whole bunch of software faults. Also if you pull that red button out it's attached to a piece of string that when pulled on gentle will lower the lift down slowly.

@@rocketn8 pretty sure it has to be powered for this to work. E50 error seems to be occurring on my mum’s Flow2. I only replaced the batteries just under 2months ago and from a reputable retailer (Farnell in UK) but now one battery reads 12.6v and the other reads 12.3v. Additionally the hand switch control changes colour from red to green but then sometimes takes 2-5 (sometimes even 10 seconds) to initiate a movement. This occurs with fresh batteries from a number of sources so I was considering if there is any interference with the wireless control signal.
