This recipe is extremely tasty and can be easily prepared at home with a few commonly available items, including Dry prawns (Yendu Royyalu or endu royyalu, brinjal (Vankaya), mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, garlic, onions, salt, oil, tomatoes, coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric, sufficient water, tamarind, green chillies and coriander leaves. It goes well with hot rice.

•5 tbsp Oil
•1 tsp Mustard
•1 tsp Cumin
•2 sprigs Curry leaves
•10-12 Crushed Garlic pods
•1 cup Onion choppings
•1 tbsp Coriander powder
•1 tbsp Chilli powder
•3-4 tbsp Water
•3 Tomato choppings
•300 gms Brinjal slits

•1/2 cup thin Tamarind extract
