Monks from the Drepung-Loseling Monestary in India create a sand Mandala as part of the "Sacred Realm: Blessings and Good Fortune Across Asia" Exhibit on view at the Museum of International Folk Art in Santa Fe, New Mexico, 2016.
In day five, Spokesperson Geshe Loden describes the meaning of the Mandala, and it's related ceremonies. The final sections of the Mandala are completed before a concluding ceremony, and the dispersion of the sand.
Special thanks to Willamarie Moore, Education Director at the Museum of International Folk Art, and Geshe Loden for their commentary.
