In this week's #TidyTuesday video, I go over the basics of functional programming in R. I first show how to create your first "Hello World" function and then show the uses of Lambda/Helper functions using the #Tidyverse. I then go over the different ways to create functions and explain the benefits of functions. I also briefly cover #TidyEval and how to create functions that allow explicitly stating the column name to make charts. Lastly, I go over a use case of creating and applying a function that does not return an output by batch saving plots.
