Closest I've ever seen to that is when a line of poplars, 30 or so inches at the bases, that had been standing dead for a few years had to come down. When the stems were cut, they foutained water for a couple of days after that. The first day, it was enough to actually rinse your hands under. It was a fairly moist area, but not swampy by any means.

Thanks for sharing Blair, I enjoyed watching. Cool cut over the pool and yes, I have seen these air bubbles after making a cut on an oak tree. Seen it on several occasions. I live and work in Upstate New York. Again, thanks for sharing and Enjoy the remainder of your weekend guys😊

I agree! That was a lot of work for two guys in that heat irrespective of age. I still thrash myself on jobs to cover for the young slackers who don’t have a pinch of what these guys have in abundance. Nicely done Blair, always 10 out of 10 for effort and that’s all that matters

Reminds me of a removal a few years back. Inspecting a huge honey locust for hazards and found a natural gas leak where the roots raised and cracked the service line. Service was shut off. We removed the tree and roots along with the stump and the line had a section replaced. The people had been unaware of the leak even though I smelled it the moment I approached the tree.
