How do u wrap around the back without carrying? Everytime I do it, my opponent calls carry.
@GetHandles
6 жыл бұрын
Simple, when you handle the basketball make sure your hand doesn't come more than halfway under it. If it's not halfway under the ball the dribble is completely legal. You might need to dribble the ball a little harder before going into the wrap behind the back to give the ball a little extra bounce height and keep it from being a carry

Kyrie is the best mixer, but I would say he is a master at tight. Harden can really mix the tight dribble and pump fake. Curry is just Curry. The ball is always in his hand

For many moves yes, but there's a lot of moves like psych crosses, non-crosses and against the grain moves where the ball actually moves the opposite direction of your body, so it doesn't always give it away.

Wish I'd discovered this distinction earlier. Developed a super loose handle because of AND1 lol! But my ball control isn't great, and now I'm developing a tight handle but its been tought to shed the old approach
@nathanielrupa3624

It's better to have both. The benefits Tight Handles: use for Aggresive defenders, Pressure defense, usually inside the free throw line range to the basket. Loose Handles: Setups, Fakes, and Reading defenders. Typically use in three point line.

Ill say harden has the best combo between tight and loose handles, kyrie and curry sometimes need multiple moves to beat their defender, but james can do one hard pullback or stepback to get his shot off
@kaluackairou5672
5 жыл бұрын
I use both, tight handles is for speed and combo and dribbling too low trying to make the defender confuse and loose handles if i want to fake the defender , less dribbling like one quick crossover or double crossover behind the back etc and explode
@dariusazmayesh-fard4396
6 жыл бұрын
In my opinion it is best to use both loose and tight handles depending on how your defender plays you. If your defense is playing off you slightly, you should use a loose crossover to create space for a shot. Likewise, if your defender is in your space, you should use a quick, tight combo to explode by him.
