@@catherinesenior2795 It's actualy something I've seen quite a lot in compilation videos with Chinese makeup people. Still don't see why they do it. I DO know some east Asian countries value a more pronounced v-shape to the upper lip (there's even a plastic surgery method in order to achieve it!) so MAYBE it has something to do with that? But then again, it kinda just goes away when you let go of your lip with the tweezers... So I don't know.
@Ami-ov5ep

HadridarMatramen I get the confusion 😂 it’s such an odd video. The video is ACTUALLY showing the duration of the lipstick, theres no “hacks” in it. And her new technique is that she blends with a large fluffy brush, a bunch of dark powder. It just looks so aeird. Like, ok, fine for a pic maybe? But for real life? It looks so odd to have a dark center to the face with a white line going down the length of it. Or am I just imagining things-which is completely possible. 😁
@JasminMiettunen
Жыл бұрын
I think she blended it out and maybe if she blended even better the technique itself would be fine? The result was still aiming for a darker color on the sides and lighter on the top, she just went about it in a different way. But I completely agree, the trend of big, full lips and a tiny nose is my personal pet peeve. At least some people can wash it off, people like the Hadid sister who got a tiny nosejob is stuck with it when the trend inevitably changes. Just like Robert, no personal hate here, she’s obviously happy with her nose :)

@aceislonely3
4 жыл бұрын
sara willy when you do normal makeup it’s about naturally enhancing or changing your face, when you do stage makeup you enhance key features of a character with dramatic makeup. Look at older black and white movies or drag queens. They dramatize important features for their character. I suggest finding what’s an important feature on the character and make it bigger than something else, and remember how important that character is. You normally wouldn’t put too much makeup on background characters because you don’t want the audience to look at them so much. If you have anymore questions I’m glad to help❤️

This might sound strange but when you were talking about nose contouring it made me feel better about my nose. I have a pretty strong jawline and cheekbones and my nose is a bit large as well and I was always self conscious about that but hearing you say that u need it to match the rest of your features makes a lot of sense. I want to start thinking of it as a bold/strong facial feature like my cheek bones rather than something I don’t like. So thank you very much for explain that ❤️❤️❤️

I'm a self-proclaimed eyeliner genius, and if a person likes the way I do my eyeliner (see pfp, idk how else to point it out), I do have tips on how to achieve it quickly and effectively. (I'm aware my eyeliner styles won't please everyone, but it's what I like and I've gotten many compliments for it as well, so I feel I have some say in the technique at least.) DISCLAIMER: My tips are mainly for liquid eyeliner, so they may not apply for eyeliner markers/pens, stamps, pencils, or gels. Eyeliner depends a lot on pressure. If you want a thin point, you need to apply it as light as a feather. The thicker the line you want, the more pressure you put; the thinner, the less. When extending the wing, make sure to gradually decrease pressure so you can basically do a 1-swipe wing rather than going through all that "outlining" trouble, (this may take a lot of practice though, so don't be discouraged if you can't achieve it on the first attempt). I always recommend using the tip of the eyeliner brush at all times (on the wing area mostly) no matter how much pressure is being applied, because if you use the middle of the brush, you may extend the wing further than intended, make it wider than preferred, or mark it at an incorrect angle. I made that mistake back in high school and my wings almost touched my eyebrows or sometimes even my hairline, and that never looked good on me 😅 But that just proves how much practice makes perfect. Maybe you'll find a technique that's easier for you or that suits your liking more, but this is how I learned. I'm an artist on paper, so this is what I found easiest for me, and maybe it could help someone else too along the way. Most importantly, remember to have fun and let your creativity roam freely. I'm not here to tell anyone how they "need" to do their eyeliner, I just wanna try to help anyone who may be having a difficult time understanding how to achieve a wing to their liking through less effort. If someone read the entire thing, thank you. I hope this helps whoever may need it. 🥺💕

I have hooded eyelids any tips causes my wings look whacked. Lol😆😂
@AmandaNavarro
4 жыл бұрын
K.I.L.E E Ou yes! ^·^ For hooded eyes, I've learned over time that it's easier to do the wing with your eyes looking straight forward rather than looking down, so you don't get a curved/looped wing. I also noticed eyeliner tends to look better on hooded eyes at a more horizontal slant rather than an upward slant (idk if that makes sense, but basically just not getting eyeliner along the hooded area) because the eyelid is more likely to make the eyeliner look "folded" at a steeper angle considering it may overlap the hood. Hooded eyes are a little more difficult to do eyeliner on, but over time it should get easier with lots of practice. It's also good to experiment with angles, wing length, what part of the lid to begin eyeliner at, whether to extend to the lower lash line, etc. as well because not all hooded eyes are the same, and certain placements may flatter certain eye shapes more. I hope this helps QwQ

I think he actually said "snatched" not "a snatch." I think most Americans have probably heard the term "snatch" as slang for female genitalia, but "snatched" is a term that's common in queer, drag, and makeup communities to generally mean "on point" e.g., fashionable, perfectly contoured, etc.
