Really fun to deliver this table to the customer and see how she reacted to see her tiles come to life on the tables. :)

Nice work and a good video! Now after almost a year do you know how the table has aged? Since there's wood under the tiles and grout, is there any bending that would make the hardened grout crack?

Thanks! I checked in with the client today, and everything is good. No cracks in the grout. I did lay the tile on "seasoned" 3/4 plywood, so pretty stable. I consulted a professional tile setter before doing this, and they assured me it would work. Happily, it has.

I know this video was made a year or so ago. I noticed your miter saw stand... Do you like it? And where did you get it?

It is awesome, I've had it for about 20 years. It's a Trojan MS-2000. I think higher-end lumber yard/ hardware stores can order them, I tried to find an easy link for you. The downside, which is only 1, is the saw in permanently mounted, so lifting it to the back of the truck is a little challenge, and then it sits too high to put my tonneau cover over the bed. Would I buy it again? YES I would. Check out my fence building video to see it in the field. kzitem.info/news/bejne/u2as1IFsknpkpag

@@oregonmakers2000 thank you so much for responding. I recently picked up a new stand for job site, but in the shop the legs stick out to far. I'm going to do more searching/shopping. Thank you again for the info on it.

Hi what's the name of the thinset you used? Does it act good on wood over time?

I used "SimpleFix Pre-Mixed Adhesive & Grout" www.amazon.com/CUSTOM-PRODUCTS-TAGWQT-Premixed-Bright/dp/B00176ISGE/ref=sr_1_3?crid=125NGUJ63U208&keywords=010186771625&qid=1669928331&sprefix=010186771625%2Caps%2C165&sr=8-3 I put it on cabinet grade 3/4" plywood. I talked to a professional tile setter and this was his recommendation for what I did. So far this has held up well and been through the 4 seasons in Eastern Washington. If you make a project, tag us if you post pictures.
