I hate how Kajal's storyline was written, her boyfriend literally raped her, and she is the one who said sorry for that like are you kidding me. Also I hate how it's showed that Kajal was being "used" instead of actually having being involved in sex, women enjoy sex too, I think I've read my fair share of books and so far I've hated mostly female characters when they are written by men, it's like they have no depth, and I'm saying this after reading authors like Murakami. I was just halfway through the novel in question here, and it occurred to me "Doesn't anyone else find this disturbing/" so I looked up some reviews. The only male authors to write a female character with precision so far in my opinion are John Green and Thomas Hardy.

i'm sorry for this terrible review. i uploaded this couple of years ago and forgot about it, but people are somehow watching. i know i haven't talked much, probably will make better reviews in future, if i do! Male authors are indeed terrible at making female characters. sadly men can't seem to get past sex in relationships. the female authors that i've read seem completely different because they aren't as focused on sex. and when they are, it seems less cringy. joanne harris is a female author i love. Also, Ana in fifty shades of grey is as terrible a female character as you can get. Interesting, she's written by a female. You should try reading it and see if that character makes sense to you. obvio no comparison to the movie. bet you've read a lot more than me, so excuse me if my opinion seems ignorant.

@@hungryutkarsh hey, not at all, I appreciate all the opinions and recommendations when it comes to books, I am huge on books and yes I've read fifty shades of grey and trust me I've read my fair share of poor written female characters by female authors. Also, I've subscribed to your channel and I'll be waiting for new reviews, if you haven't yet read 'Song of Achilles' or 'Seven husbands of Evelyn hugo' I'd suggest you to read them, they are pretty popular and worth the hype, also you can try more books by Taylor Jenkins Reid she is phenomenal, also suggest me some good books by male authors, I'd love to try some. I know I used 'also' a lot, but I can't help it when I have that much to say. 😅

the whole book felt like that. durjoy didn't even give us time to connect with the characters. only well written character was dr. arman in my opinion. idk if it's only me but kajal always felt as an unnecessary character to the story. she didn't even know what she was doing.
