I had a different experience and I'm down to share. I live in the UK, Northern Ireland specifically. Mine started the same, strapped to table with some electrodes but I didn't have anything on my back, only bp monitor was a manual cuff on one arm that was taken every 5 minutes . 10 minutes of measurement for baseline before the first tilt, I moved upright in a few intervals with time in-between rather than all at once, it moved so slowly I personally had no dizziness at all .I was told not to talk at all,not even about symptoms.I didn't receive any medication or have an IV placed . I didn't end up getting a diagnosis but the more I look the more I see the test I had is very different to other people's. I felt no dizziness during my test and nearly lost my balance standing after putting my boots back on My resting is usually around 70 to 80 , apparently my tilt table never went over 100, I wear a tracker at home and I regularly hit the 130s when sitting from lying or standing from sitting .

Hoping you're doing well. It sounds like you might have hyperadrenergic POTS, which causes anxiety by overstimulating the "fight or flight" panic and anxiety response. The POTS medications Guanfacine or Clonidine are often prescribed to treat both the POTS and anxiety in patients who have this.

...I was given a TTT when I was ~12, and was told that I didn't have POTS _specifically_ because there was no blood pressure drop, while I have basically every other symptom. have spent the past decade trying to figure out what I'm dealing with, because of being told "not POTS". hearing that blood pressure drop isn't an actual _requirement_ makes me think I should ask my newest dr for her opinion on if it is/isn't POTS. (...and if it _is_ POTS, I'm going to be incredibly annoyed about all the time/money spent on innumerable appointments/CT scans/MRIs/lab-work/etc, but also sort of relieved that at least there's a possible answer?)

@@ashkinnally6316 I understand there are other types of dysautonomia, but POTS is most common type to be paired with certain other diagnoses I have. My tilt table test was the worst thing I’ve ever experienced. I have been unable to stand for more then 10 minutes without falling to the ground since I was 16. I only went to the doctor six months ago about it because my heart rate was in the 170’s just standing. And my roommate who has pots told me to go to the doctor. I did the tilt table test and about ten minutes in the feeling happened and my body went cold and tingling, I went limp, and everything was black. I could still hear though and sorta mumble. I started crying because they had me in this state for about 5 minutes before I could be lowered. It was terrible. The worst part about it was that they were about to give me the tablet even though my blood pressure was already 80/60 but luckily one of the nurses stepped in and said not give it to me. Right after that was when I basically passed out. I found out after that my blood pressure dropped to 50/20 and if they had given me the tablet earlier I would have gone into a coma or possibly have died. Worst experience of my life

I will never take another one, no matter what. The mri was relaxing and enjoyable compared to that thing..lol. Good news is I feel very good and healthy now.

@@zaeblet_ nuerocardiogenic synchope. They said the combination of sick sinus syndrome and right ventricular hypertrophy (thickening of the right side of my heart) . When i lift or strain, my vagas nerve sends signal to my heart, putting it in fight or flight mode, due to the damage to my heart. In turn that dumps some kind of cells causing my veins in my legs to dilate. That let's the blood pool in your legs, and your heart to increase rate. Blood pressure drops, and you lose blood flow to the brain. When people pass out, they wind up in the flat position, letting their blood pressure equalize, and you wake back up.
@rickylaw8187

@@zaeblet_ it sounds as though you may have pots syndrome. Which is determined by the tilt table test also. That is what they were testing me for. It's a change in blood pressure when you go from sitting to standing or getting up from a lying position. My daughters both have this. It can be treated, to what degree depends on the cause ? If you want to listen to someone who has alot of knowledge. Look up York Cardiology on KZitem. Very smart man. He explains things in simple terms to. I have literally been swamped with different diagnosis. This last year. They deemed me 100% disabled. I have Minnieres disease, copd, occupational lung disease, cirrhosis (and i don't drink ) they say it's more genetic than anything. I also have sick sinus syndrome, and right ventricular hypertrophy, sleep apnea, asthma. Everything started happening after Covid. Been a crazy year. Also had Graves disease, which caused hyperthyroidism. Tore my calf muscle getting out of bed. I've got a crazy testimony from the last 2 years. It all started with sitting in the floor for about thirty minutes, and I ruptured a disc in my back. Then the craziness started. If I can help you, ask me what you want, and i will give you my best answer based on my knowledge. I've done alot of reading. Been through pacemaker surgery twice in 2 months. First one had bad leads, lol...🤣 2 months later they redid the surgery. I still have palpitations. Doctor told me to learn to live with symptoms. God bless. @SnowySpiritRuby

I have to agree with Emily - whether or not they're rough really depends on your symptoms. For me, the roughest part was, in between tilting me up two times on the table, having a full liter of saline pumped through an IV in only 20 minutes because they wanted to test for hypovolemia and see to what degree I had it - it literally felt like my arm was going frozen because it felt so cold from it being infused so fast (even though the saline was room temperature) - but I have never fainted and my blood pressure only goes low when I first stand up (after a little bit it stabilizes, then starts rising and continues to until I sit down again), so it really will be different for each person; for me, the only symptoms that showed up were my legs giving out after a while, getting really dizzy initially upon standing, and I started spacing out and my vision started narrowing after a while (I'd been dealing with the last 2 a lot but wasn't sure whether it was presyncope or a seizure, so the test made that one clear as well, for which I was grateful). Thankfully, the official protocol now no longer includes the synthetic adrenaline, but I don't know whether all places have updated the procedure to reflect this or not, so it may or may not be part of it when you get yours done - they didn't do it for mine because the Dr. that oversaw mine was the one who originally developed the tilt table test protocol, so they had the most up-to-date procedure in place at that hospital (June 2019). The unexpected benefit for me from all the saline (I ended up getting something like 2 1/2 liters over the course of the day) was that, for the 2 days following the test, my not-even-resting heart rate was lower than it had been in over a year, and I had more energy than I'd had in almost 2 years. If you're looking for other people who have also vlogged their TTT, Morgan Foery also has a good video on it.

Hey I was watching your video because I have to have a tilt table test done on August 3rd 2021 because I have suffered from chronic migraines and headaches for 25 years since I was 10 years old I'm 35 now so 25 years and I have been passing out and I get sick to my stomach when I pass out I come to it I'm really really exhausted I don't remember what I was doing before I fell and passed out or fainted for so long that now I know when it's coming on I know what I'm getting dizzy and sometimes if I can get myself to my bed and get into the middle of my bed that if I was to roll from passing out I'm not going to fall off the bed I kind of have taught myself you know when I feel like I'm going to faint or pass out which is the same thing to me passing out or fainting is the same thing to me the thing is I've had video EEG where they show nothing regular EEG MRIs cats cans to rule out things like epilepsy seizures I do not have epilepsy or seizures or vertigo think honestly what's going on my experience I'm not a doctor I don't know but I think my migraines are so bad they want a migraine gets so bad at that point I'm walking into my apartment or I'm walking into wherever I'm at and somehow motion or something triggers the passing out and I will literally faint and when I come to it I have no idea like literally if you've ever had a surgery where you're under anesthesia and you're trying to remember what you were doing before the surgery and how you can't that's exactly what's been happening to me where I tried really hard every time I pass out I don't know why I do this knowing I'm not going to remember I do it anyways and hopes and I'll tell you I will sit there and I will try to remember until I'm blue in the face like what was I doing before I fainted what was I doing what could have caused it and it drives me insane I have chronic migraines and I get them every single day they will never go away they can be cured I wouldn't say cured but I would say managed with medication such as trigger point injections occipital nerve blocks that's like the only thing that works I have been on every medication that a 35 year old should be on for headaches and migraines nothing seems to work am I nervous about a tilt table test absolutely because I get motion sickness very quickly I can't go on a carnival ride because of the motion I can't even be on a Merry-Go-Round with my sister's kids because I will get dizzy and I'll puke even though it's not going fast it's the fact that its motion I'm lucky over the years I don't get car sick anymore when I was younger I was little I would get car sick all the time as I got older that didn't happen so much the motion of the vehicle didn't make me sick my mom used to have to give me Dramamine because I would get car sick all the time it didn't matter where we were going against the car and I'll puke it was horrible the motion but I'm nervous about the tilt table test even though it's going to be done in like a hospital setting or something like that it's the fact that I don't want to be throwing up I don't want to be feeling my headache a thousand times worse then I feel it right now because I don't get my nerve block until August 11th I have the tilt table test on the 3rd so I'm nervous that this motion of the table making me stand straight up I'm scared my head's going to hurt a lot more and I'm going to be more uncomfortable with anxiety Then I was going in because I get anxiety really bad especially when I'm nervous but sometimes I can't help it when I'm nervous it's something I can't control no matter how hard I try with visualization skills you know just it just I can't control it so I am very nervous about this tilt table test I don't know how to prepare for it I'm going to end up calling the place tomorrow if I can knowing I have to work a 10-hour shift at my job in healthcare as a receptionist I need to be able to prepare myself do I take all my medications I take it night or do I skip them what do I do I am on a blood pressure medicine Propranolol do I not take that one like what do I do so I'm going to call and ask some information just to see is there something I'm supposed to do or not do are they going to give me a medication you know that relaxes me or whatever you know what what do I need to know to prepare myself oh and by the way you have a Dalmatian dog is that a service dog I'm going to tell you right now I'm looking in your background and see you like Dalmatians I've never met anybody else that likes Dalmatians I'm going to tell you right now I've been obsessed with Dalmatians since I was born I'm not kidding you I have every figurine every stuffed animal everything imaginable this Dalmatian I'm not joking like I can have my own Disney Store that's how much Dalmatian stuff I have a lot of it's in storage a lot of it's packed away because I live in a one-bedroom apartment my apartment kind of big but not big enough to have all this stuff you know out and about if that makes sense I do have a small wall curio cabinet that I have hanging that has a lot of glass Dalmatian figurines in it I literally have several of the huge water globes that has Dalmatians in it from like a hundred and one Dalmatians and it plays music I have this one it is so sentimental because my mom and my grandmother I think gave it to me and it's got this teeter-totter on this round little thing so basically it's a music box kind of thing but it's a round like a circle shape at the bottom and then it has like a teeter totter in the middle and then it's got a Dalmatian on either side like as if you know they were you know friends or whatever and they're on the teeter-totter and when you play the music the teeter-totter actually goes up and down like an actual teeter-totter does and it's one of my favorites it's very sentimental to me I've had it since I was probably 6 years old and it still works today how did you get your dog to be a service dog if it is I just saw the vest on it or whatever so I wasn't sure you know if it was a service dog or not because a lot of dogs I know that are service dogs they wear certain vest so I wasn't sure cuz you know how service dogs will wear that kind of vest so I wasn't sure if your dog is a service dog how did you train it well enough because I've done a lot of research on Dalmatians and they're the most hyper dog they're not good with kids like they will snap at a child it's just their nature I love Dalmatians my dream is to have a full bred girl Dalmatian with blue eyes so I can call it Oddball just like in the movie A hundred and one Dalmatians I'm not kidding you that's what my dream is what I want I'll never find one like that I'll tell you because it's very rare but I wish I could have a Dalmatian I would give anything but I can't even afford any kind of dog I don't have that kind of money but also I live in a one-bedroom apartment and there's nowhere for this dog to run around I mean we have a family farm that my aunt lives on but there is no way that dog will run around on that farm without someone snatch in it but at the same time how did you get your dog to be so tame your dog just seems kind of calm but anyways I just think it's kind of cool I've never met anybody else that likes Dalmatian the way I do I'll tell you I have every snowglobe of Dalmatians in it I have every figuring you can imagine I mean I'm not kidding you I even have from when I was little the bedspreads we're literally the bones on the bedspread and the comforter would glow I'm not kidding you like you would think I'm obsessed with them I guess you could say I am but really I'm not I wouldn't use the word obsessed I would just say it's a hobby of mine but I could make a living off of what I've got if I sold it I'm not kidding you that tells you how much I got but anyways enough me rambling on your probably thinking who's this crazy stranger writing me a book I just think it's going to need I've never met anyone else that likes Dalmatians I mean I've seen five-year-olds and kids that like Dalmatians but nothing like I do I've never seen somebody older that likes Dalmatians like I do I think it's pretty cool
