It is so well balanced when it opens it uses the same amount of electricity in a 9V battery. The small oblong ones with 2 round connectors used in doorbells and game controllers 😮

Tilting bridge that tilts for vanity? The main use for the river is now canoeing, it's dirty and rusty just like the other bridges so fits in well

I have to wonder why the designers made the pedestrian deck at an incline like that. It certainly _could_ have been flat, so it wouldn't require people to walk up a grade to the center point.

there are highly geared "hamster wheels" at both ends of the bridge; part of a joint venture of the "employ the city rats" program and "think green for the new millennium ! " B-)
