I dated a Soldier who came home from Nam. He suffered miserably- could not sleep in a bed,, use to sleeping on ground. He was a Sniper. Breaks my heart

"Goodbye and Hello" was the album this song is off, if I remember correctly. My sister came back from America from a student exchange with this album, plus Janis Joplins "I got them Ole Cosmic Blues again Mama" - we spent hours listening to those 2 great albums and I still love Tim Buckleys raw sound.

I have the "Goodbye and Hello" album that I bought when it came out and I did always think that this was the best song on the album.

I had many friends in the sixties and seventies that went to vietnam. The older guys I knew that came back With horror stories. That's when I decided to join the coast guard When my draft number came up in nineteen seventy. I wanted nothing to do with that war. Peace ✌️

Tim Buckley's "Song To The Siren" is definitely worth a listen too.

My apologies, brother didn't mean to make you sad.🙏 Tim Buckley was an American guitarist and singer. He began his career based in folk rock, but subsequentially experimented with other genres such as psychedelia, jazz, the avant-garde and even funk. He has an unconventional vocal style that I enjoy listening too. I think perhaps I'll suggest another artist for you to give a listen, if interested. *"Joe Cocker - With A Little Help From My Friends 1969" (by the channel: Paulo procultura)* Appreciated your reaction bro. ❤🩹peace out~
