Good to see timmy is finally back in his element. Ultra bouncer and game changer are both nice buggies, but i felt like there was way to much unusable powér in them. Thanks for posting these vids, probably takes quite some effort! Grts from belgium!

Tim clearly understands the concept of only using as much power as needed to get up a hill, any more than that is just noise. He is one of the very few rock bouncers that gets that just because you have 600hp doesn't mean you need to use all of it, all the time.

Go take a look at timcameronracing.com/my-builds.html he lists a dozen bouncers he's built since 2007, and his winningest so far, "Unfinished Business," which he raced in both 2016 & 2017. He won't be racing it next year, it's been sold to Brandon Davis, I believe, who has bought several of Tim's builds. Hold your cursor over the pictures of Tim's buggies to get a text description of the main components he used in each build. Everything is custom made or special order, and things like gear ratios are left to the imagination. But, there are some items fairly consistent; Power Glide tranny to 10" differential housings with 47 spline hardened axles, but not always. I'd hazard a guess that Currie is so well-known in the hot rod industry they probably aren't going to offer the best price for a special 10" housing, but then again, they may be looking to break into THIS market, which is still growing like wildfire, so you might get a deal... If I were to get into this sport, and I would if I wasn't already in my mid-70s, but IF, I would be checking into as many of these guys as possible, who consistently win or place in races for ideas. For example, Clayton Hollingsworth's "Outlaw" is unique, you won't see another like it, except the other one he made identically but for engine. I don't know what his power train consists of, it's also installed in a very unusual manner. For example, I once saw him break something that kicked out the driveline for the whole left side, both front and back, but the right side still had connection, both front and back. Absolutely weird, that was. Anyway, his front end is made a heavy-duty independent suspension, so the front wheels always travel straight up & down, maintaining a better contact surface most all of the time, rather than having the off-angle tilt you get with a straight axle when one side gets lifted high, and both wheels get turned onto their edges. He makes the thing work very well, and he also has a wild, almost mid-engine design, with the engine sitting low in the chassis, and sitting literally beside him on the right where a passenger seat would normally be located. It looks wildly unbalanced, but is actually more balanced than the traditional design. He tends to land on his wheels in more situations where others would land on their sides or the roof. Whatever works, works. Who cares what it looks like..? 🤠

Quick question, how come the rock bouncer guys favor the IROKs so much more than the BFG Krawlers? It seems as though almost every other rig runs Interco, but hardly any (from what I've seen on youtube) runs Krawlers.. I know the Krawlers get great reviews, if not, slightly better reviews that the IROKS.. Thanks

None of these rigs run Iroks. Those are TSL SX's. I don't know why they don't like crawlers though.
