@helicopter weewee I don’t care about what position he is when I’m ranking the best of all time; simply put is he better than Russell? No; Jordan? No; LeBron? No; Kareem? No; Wilt? No. There is not one player aforementioned ^ he was better than; there is literally zero argument.
@sugu8403
3 жыл бұрын
@helicopter weewee I’ve watched Duncan since he played in Wake Forest till he retired; and for you to downplay the greatness of Wilt, Bill Russell, and Kareem is just asinine. First off Bill and Wilts era wasn’t weak it was SMALL meaning Bill and Wilt had to play eachother 9 games a season and still had to put up monster numbers do you know how hard that is? Also there was 25 players on 14 teams 6’11 and taller so it wasn’t less competition at all they still had to grind like any other player. Not to mention Bill and Wilt had massive verticals at their height, Bill had his max vert tested and was able to leave chalk fingerprints at 14 feet and was recruited for the Olympic high jump, and Wilt was recorded having a 48 inch vertical at 7’1 300+lbs as well as being a track star. I have never seen Duncan that athletic in my life not even his first few years in the league. So Bill and Wilt are far more athletic and then we get into the numbers side of basketball. Wilt was a MUCH more dominant scorer than Duncan, a better rebounder, better passing vision, better defensively, better FG%, higher career win shares, higher career per, and the only thing Duncan did better was his free throws. Bill was a MUCH better rebounder, better passing vision, MUCH better defensively, Duncan was a better scorer, free throw shooter, fg%, win shares, and per. Bill has been regarded as the best center of all time. Wilt is far superior to Duncan in any and every way other than free throws And Kareem I’m not even going to get into because it’s ridiculous for him not to be top 3-4
