You're getting exposed by the younger generation because of your unethical business practices, how do you feel? Probably should of thought twice about releasing a bullshit book about fitness and than scamming the Crypto and NFT community eh?

I love the friendly challenge about "chill out". That's a great friendship. That's a nuanced topic and something that a great friend can push against and help you reconsider. We've all got blind-spots and a great friend can say, "What about here, in the dark?"

These random episodes are honestly my favorites. Love the idea of moving toward a more casual conversational style format as was eluded to in this episode. When it feels like you’re just chilling with your best friends, that’s when you get those lightning in the bottle moments.

Tim with kid(s) will be so interesting to hear him talk about. My eldest will be out of the house next year so it will be anachronistic for me but I’ve followed him and admired him so long that I can’t wait to hear how he thinks about the whole experience of parenthood.

Tim, if you wanted to to learn how to delve into the grand mysteries of existence for yourself, look into the work of Jason Miller, who looks at magic and spirit work from an ancient technology standpoint and teaches classes on how to do it yourself. He's right up your experimental alley.

1:40:07 Big assumptions here. So Tim has a vocation and avocations. I'm not aware of a proven model of health that says it's not okay to enjoy practicing both with enthusiasm, as long as someone has enough time for rest and recuperation. When I play a game, I still enjoy practicing strategy and critical thinking. I don't have a reason to turn those off.

1:45:56 The call to "just be" doesn't seem logically defensible. Humans have the power to choose, and so we are always choosing different behaviors. You can "just be" when you're asleep. Even if you're meditating, you're still choosing and behaving for a particular state.
