“I can always hear her smile when I call...” You went and did it again, Tim. I held my Mom’s hand as she passed with “Humble and Kind” playing in the background. Never take her for granted and the lessons she taught and instilled in you. She can’t ever be replaced, there’s no one better. Thanks, Momma. I’ll see you on the other side...

I heard this song on the radio this year on September 2nd on my way home from visiting my mom in a nursing home suffering from dementia. My mom passed away on September 28th. I called my mom and dad every day to every other day but never passed 3 days. I often thought I was nuts for calling my parents so much. I’m so grateful I did. I now call my dad every day sometimes 2x a day. My parents were married 60 years.

I watched this and I cried like a baby. This song hit me hard. I only wish I could call mom. I wish I could hear her voice of the words I Love you and give her a big hug and kiss but I can't. She passed away and I am missing her so much. Heaven has a new angel now. (my mom). 😇 She was my heart and soul and most of all my best friend. She was with me when she passed. It was the hardest thing having to let her go. Tim has a beautiful song with a powerful message. To all those that still have a Mom count your blessings and never miss a day without calling your mom and telling her you love her. Life is too short and not to be taken for granted. If only I could see and hear my moms voice again. My faith will get me through and knowing that I carry her in my thoughts, in my heart every minute of the day. God Bless all Mom's and God Bless everyone. Y'all stay safe. I'm a fan of Tim he's one of the best. ♡♥♡🙏🙏

Damn, it's raining in my eyes, "again" 💖 "I Called Mama" [Verse 1] Got a call from a friend about a friend With some news no one ever wants to hear It hit me like a punch, it took my breath He was just gettin' into his best years Yeah, somethin' like that'll shake you up Wake you up [Chorus] So I stopped off at a Texaco, bought a Slim Jim and a coke Parked out by the water just to watch that river flow Grabbed my guitar from the back seat, wrote a song just for me And I sung it for the blue sky and a couple live oak trees I thought of home, grabbed my phone from my pocket And I called mama [Verse 2] It rang a couple times, and she picked up I can always hear her smile when I call I just called to tell you that I loved you I was missing you and dad and home, that's all I got to really thinking this morning About what's important [Chorus] So I stopped off at a Texaco, bought a Slim Jim and a coke Parked out by the water just to watch that river flow Grabbed my guitar from the back seat, wrote a song just for me And I sung it for the blue sky and a couple live oak trees I thought of home, grabbed my phone from my pocket And I called mama [Bridge] And from now on I ain't gonna wait so long [Chorus] To stop off at a Texaco, buy a Slim Jim and a coke Park out by the water just to watch that river flow Grab my guitar from the back seat, write a song just for me Sing it for the blue sky and a couple live oak trees I think of home, grab my phone from my pocket Instead of sayin' tomorrow, I'm gonna And I called mama And I called mama With Love To All, Stay Safe, and call MaMa, every chance ya get 💖🌹💖🌹💖🌹💖🌹

Just lost my mom 11 days ago on Aug 3, 2020.... I always thought I was calling "enough". And now I wish I'da called 1000 more times. It's NEVER enough after you're unable to ever call again. For those of you that still have your Momma or Daddy still alive.... Trust me when I say call every chance you get. You won't regret it! When it's too late...... The regrets eat you up! And never hang up without saying I love you! I'd give anything to get just (1) more phone call to hear her voice and say I love you just (1) more time.

I think I am really, really good or was a very good Morning. I do not even want to say this come, but I have a beautiful amazing wonderful wonderful beautiful son, and a beautiful beautiful that are both absolutely amazing people. I got married young l was married for 28 years, and actually met my children's father when I was 12 years old and was married at the age of 16 years old. I guess I am responding to the song because both my son and daughter are estranged from me. I was abused for more than twenty-eight years

Hi, my name is Carol A. Ennis from Philaselphia, Pa. I love country music, and I love your new song "Called Mama. I wrote a song called "Grandma" in 1995. I wrote the words and the lyrics. It is registered with the United States Copyright Office, Library of Congress. I was wondering if you can point me in the right direction to find out of any country singer might be interested in singing my song. I have requested a copy of my song from the Library. Still waiting. The to this virus, they are not operating on a full schedue, so it may take a little longer to receive a copy.

My mom was indeed my everything. She always supported me in all my causes, my ups and when I was down. Seeing my mom and hearing her voice comforted me .Her hugs went straight to my sole. I heard the first 2 lines and i was deep in tears. It's been 15 years and i still pickup the phone to share what just happened. My mom was loved by so many of my friends. They would call her to get advice or just to listen. My ex and other ex's in the family still called her on her birthday and Mother's day. Beautiful song....I still miss strolling with her and talking with her. But I miss her most for my grandson not to have know his great grandma. Thanks Tim! Thank you mommy for loving me and helping me to be the best for my son, husband, grandsons, siblings, this world and for allowing me to be you and daddy's surprise when your thought your were finish. Yes #8 your favorite. I won't tell the others...always in my heart, my soul and all that I do...Never stopped loving or missing you💝💖💞❤💋💋💋

I'm not a big country guy, from up north. My mom moved to Biloxi almost 2yrs ago. She likes to send videos every now and then, which could usually hold historical value to out family. I get the text while in public, and texted, "this isn't something by Clapton, Fleetwood, Petty (all of which I love) ect. Some of those songs still tear me up to this day (You Look Wonderful Tonight, Cocaine...this was the time period when Dad and much my uncles attempted on being louder then the other when Clapton said Cocaine). We never appreciate when it's released, like it is years down the line. Hell, I dont know whether my favorite album is the White Album or Dark Side of the Moon. In many ways, Im like my mom, one for me, is Im an emotion a person. Not sure but hearing this song for the first time, added to that list. I love you, I fucking miss you. I miss drinking beers on the front step, I miss everything with ALL the kids, You know what I mean when I say this, I'm gonna miss seeing the twins just as much, and last but not least, Mommom. With all my bullshit, they love me and want to see succeed, which I WILL! Hope you can send more. Once a week Maybe? Before you're have me soaked from emotion everynight , by sending stuff like Playin' With the Boys. Mom, this stuff ALWAYS means something to me, so much so that You Look Wonderful Tonight, was adopted by Becky and I. Thank you, so much, for all of this. Hey, maybe these songs are those "good vibes" you asked me sent down to me. He knows, and he's doing what you asked. Monday-this morning were really rough, today I feel like a new person, I'd say 65%,getting there, not 100% but these emotions are always the first to come back, just the way the brain works. Sorry for the discography, but although I dont show it best, it is, has, and will always be here. Mom, thank you! You did what was needed growing up, and thats a momma bear taking care of her cubs. Love ya, from Pumadin, to Mama Dukes.

Lol. Don't give Tim the credit. Give his writers the credit. He's a glorified cover artist. He's recorded over 200 songs and only has co-writing credits on 7 songs from his entire catalog, and those are all deep cuts. So even the songs he's actually written on, he didn't write much and those songs never has success. So again, you're thanking the wrong person.
