So now we know why Tim doesn't wear shoes. With shoes on, his feet can't provide adequate comedy through wiggles etc to wake up the audience.

To see what a difference is made when the audience is made up of people who understand what Tim is about and are intently listening to the words watch the "Ready for this" performance. /watch?v=KVN_0qvuhhw I got to say, that the song just goes to another level with the reverb/echo and the explosive laughter from the audience.

There are a lot of things I don't like about America, mostly because their is way to much government and bureaucracy but I hope you act on making America better as you see fit and don't just complain on You Tube about it.

Yeah I got that. I'll put it like this. I've been a musician for 20 years now and an improvisational soloist for 16 years. In my early years I would play to many notes that impeded the build and diluted the impact of the melody. When I started saying more with fewer notes people would tell me how much better I got. I'm not hating on the guy but I do think objectively the timing and delivery was a little off on the first part.

I know it come off as hyper critical but I was inferring that the long intro threw off the comedic timing. Even the vocal delivery could have improved this just by being more dramatic. An operatic delivery would have made it funnier. It was funny like I said but for me the intro ran on a bit because the point is made rather quickly in the intro so there's not a whole lot more of a reason to carry on with it.

@Sander198422 really small audiences are always harder for comedians. People just don't get into the mass laughing/applauding thing when there aren't that many people. Also this being New York there were probably a fair number of people who didn't know that "Ginger" was a word for red-head. Not everyone is a South Park fan and it's not really a standard insult in the US. I remember being entirely confused in London when I saw a postcard saying gingers had no soulds.

That is because you are making the mistake of not concidering comedic timing in to the mix. Yes the musical timing could have been better in the song, but first and foremost the comic timing comes first.
