The Tim, killin' it! One of the most underrated styles ever.

its mind blowing because this video is actually from 1996. in 92 we were still wearing clown pants, doing late flips and never popping anything. great post though.

I think what a lot of people don’t realize about Tim.... is that he’s really smart.... I think a lot of people see the jokester, shit talking attitude and assume he’s a bit of a hyperactive ADD case or something.... but in that berrics interview, he was talking about cognitive bias and scientific education.... and what I’d always suspected was proven; Tim’s a thoughtful, contemplative dude... hes interested.. and even if he wasn’t acknowledged as one of the best styles in skating, he would’ve done something for himself, and excelled at it. Tim’s inspiring to me in that way too.... not only an ill skater, but a dude who thought his way into an ill career where he’s still admired, and stayed down to earth in the process. Idk about you, but that’s all I’ve ever wanted for myself. I think we all do. Kudos to you, Timmy-O. Keep shifty-ing.

I was never able to Frontside Flip any other way than an Invisible Flip. Do you recall Rick Howard telling kids to "Flip their Hardflips?" I could never flip a Hardflip - those too were Invisible, if at all.
