Starting from Access Point 2 on the West end of Algonquin Provincial Park, we paddle on the Tim River through Tim Lake. After a 120m portage, we are lead to a meandering narrow Tim River where we paddle for 2 hours until we reach Rosebary Lake. We are lucky to get a prime campsite on Rosebary by the beach. At nightfall, we gather around the campfire and talk of spirits and Wendigos and are lucky to hear a Barred Owl call out from the forest beside us. Overall a surreal experience. Bugs are a constant bother but we deal with them. We cook good food and enjoy by the lake at our camp and hang out on the beach.
Join us on this adventure and do not forget to plan your trip to this part of the Park. It's absolutely beautiful.
