Sylvia was a high-level fighter but there was nothing special about him. He just happened to be there when the roster was thin as paper, but he was a warrior. He was explosive and had weird angles due to his body type in the early 2000s, but once that went away he was just a run-of-the-mill hw. Would still kick my ass like I'm Cinderella in a single round, and I'm a heavyweight as well.

@@tylertwinem7213 they are pretty much the same. Jone would destroy all heavy weight. On fight day, Jone weight at 240, he is basically a heavy weight. The main reason most heavy weight fight at heavy weight is because they dont have to cut weight. Stipe weight at 220 during the Ngannou fight. It is safe to say, most Light Heavy weight are basically heavy weight. Jone would just out wrestle Ngannou and most people in the heavy weight division. For the people that can stop his wrestling, he would just knock them out. The dude is a freak and if Stipe can take Ngannou down, someone like Jone who has finished 99% of his fight when he is able to take someone to the ground then I would say Ngannou would lose easily.

I never understood why they dogged Sylvia so hard he has had a bad road but he had a good career until losing to Randy which isnt shameful, Another of Dana's vendettas probably, Dana is like the Donald Trump of sports world it's always something or somebody lying about Dana and UFC never the other way around and he uses his power and influence for the pettiest things like keeping frank shamrock out of hall of fame, hurting guys careers or there reputations, examples to numerous to list, and retroactively dissing a guys career like sylvia who most fans today only know by what there told so instead of Sylvia getting a little credit and maybe signing a few autographs he gets treated like a bum.

Dana felt humiliated when he left the ufc to challenge Fedor only to lose in 36 seconds. It was back when Dana was whining and making propaganda about Fedor being overrated.
