I love this type of construction. If I ever get to have a house built, It will be the type of construction.

Shelter just built my little Dream Home for me. I watched it from arrival on site to the last SIP being settled in! Such a thrill and it is just gorgeous. If you can dream it, they will make it happen. Best wishes

Nice work ! Thought that looked like Doug fir which doesn’t grow in Maine.

Thank you! It is Doug fir, good eye, we generally get our Doug fir from the West coast!

Hello SI, Would love to have a cost breakdown for each phase of this home. Does your team travel the NorthEast to assemble these structures? Have you ever built or plan to build a Barn/Studio Apt. in this manner? Something along the lines of a 3000 sq ft foundation with an apartment/living quarters above the first floor such as a raised monitor barn? I've seen some models by Legacy but their estimates are so overblown that it has me shaking my head. I believe in fair pay for an honest days work but I sure don't believe in Post Covid Greed. Great Video and Structure BTW.

Nice build. How long were those rafters? Did you guys chamfer the top edges of all the SIP shoes?

They’re 27’ - 1”. Great eye we did chamfer all of them, it helps the SIP seat more easily and speeds up the installation process drastically!

Lovely content. Architecture student here, what programs does your team use to design the structures?
