My first skidder I broke out on was a 240A Timberjack. Loved the sound of the old Detroit screaming through the woods

Yes they are. Also hard to find one anymore to. I skidded wood from places you just could walk on the ground was so bad.

Love them ole machines. I run a 76 208. Nothing better than than the first pull of the day wide open Detroit screamen. Getting it back today. Throw out bearing went last week. Good to timing it being mud season in central vermont.

Pretty much the same as mine,i have a 79 but someone traded the transfer case and housings for the heavy eaton

@@jessiebruno9313 ours is a single brake box transfer case and a single line master cylinder we’ve talked about switching it over to the A series brakes

@@elithelogger5890 Must be the same as mine,but it looks like they are working good....i have to pull the transfer case out and replace whatever is in there

@@jessiebruno9313 if there like ours 2 brake disk and a couple seals I’d probably go ahead and replace the brake cylinder on the transfer case too that engages the brakes
