Easy solo to play when it comes to the amount of notes but a really tough one for your fingers because of the constant bending + vibrato. Great job as usual bruh! :)

Absolutely! Gilmour sinks so much feeling into each note, each bend, each stop, each start. To play his solos is a practice in presence and intentionality. He’s a true master of his craft. Thank you for the kind word! All that being said- I’m trying my best haha!

in my opinion, you're "gifted" when your playing connects and inspires people because it's the purpose of music. And your playing inspires me so much to grab my guitar and practice. So just wanna say thank you and keep going!

What Strat is that? Such an unusual sunburst color. Amazing solo as always
@xArsVivendi
10 ай бұрын
2 tone sunburst. it's more common on 50s strats with maple necks and 1-ply pickguards. i think that's why it looks unusual on a rosewood neck and 3-ply guard.
@math001

@@xArsVivendi you know what model that is? I usually see the 2 tone on cheaper Squier models but doubt that the one on the video is one just from looking at the neck
@xArsVivendi

@@math001 from the specs, I believe its a vintage style strat. 60s. white dots and wide dot spacing at 12th fret indicates that it might be a 62 strat. So my guess would be, it is a made in japan 62 vintage reissue from the 80s or 90s. (the red color of 3-tone sb strats tends to fade over time) or it could be a 80s / 90s 1962 american vintage reissue, or it is an aged custom shop 62 strat. :)
@xArsVivendi

In a different video where he uses this strat, it looks like he has the "John Mayer BLK Black 1 Schaller German Tuners Gold Pearl" Tuners installed on this guitar. The bridge, input jack and screws are silver though. So it could also possibly be a self built parts caster. 1957 2-tone body. pick-up set in a three ply guard, and a 62 reissue neck. -> John Mayer/ 90s Clapton Style Guitar Solo
