This popped up in my recommendeds, the early 2000s still felt like the 90s in a way. Ironically some of the cars in the video are still on the road today some are in rough condition though today. The atmosphere really changed around 2004-2005. Lots of the 90s Ford crown vic taxis were still in service.

That's why you often hear people say they miss the late 90s early 2000's, or the "Y2K era"... Things started to feel different around 04-05, that was the real 2000's
@jeffl9545

I've been going through videos of NYC the past couple hours and reading the comments. Many say everything changed after 9/11 (being 13 at the time this resonates the most with me), after early 2000s, late 2000s. I'm even seeing comments saying everything changed after around 2013. Someone said they miss the energy of 2015. Of course things changed, some for the better some for the worse but I also have to wonder how much of it is nostalgia for the period of time when we were kids.

@@circleinforthecube5170 I think you are ignorant of certain facts. You put an idea in your head without even carefully consulting the facts. How could the fall of the Twin Towers affect the atmosphere of the 90s? I don't think you have much interest in culture. Watch a lot of films, videos, music from the 90s and early 2000s (which are not at all different) and you will avoid saying such things.
