Hi everybody, and welcome to my "stevenofpa" KZitem Channel!
This video shows you what it's like to see the timing chains and valve train of this engine after the valve covers have been removed. The vehicle is a 2004 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition with a 4.0-l 4.0L 4.0 liter litre 4-liter v-6 v6 engine and it has the dreaded infamous typical expected notorious usual unfortunate timing chain rattle which most of these engines also develop over time due to the cracked damaged broken timing chain guides. the guides get old and brittle, possibly due to the type of plastic that's used to make them, and so from heat and cold, thermocycling and oil contamination and damage, they end up breaking and cracking and turning into many pieces inside the engine, and causing lots of VERY LOUD NOISE. So the only thing to do is to take the engine out of the vehicle, take the engine apart, and remove all of the debris and clean the engine and replace all of the timing chain components, and then rebuild the engine or buy a reman remanufactured engine or one from a junk yard used engine and replace the engine so that it the vehicle suv car can be driven once again. also make sure you put in new coolant and change the engine oil and filter too. and maybe the oil pump, gaskets, intake manifold, exhaust, heads, clean parts, OTHER KEYWORDS, get people to watch your videos, this is an educational and entertaining program, film, learn, watch, see, experience, teacher, student, school, tech, technician, technology, engine, motor, head, cylinder head, gasket, plastic, aluminum, steel, cast iron, bearing, piston, cracked head.
