While I LOVE the aesthetic and functionality, I’m not sold on the cabinet beneath. Can you hide the legs to make it look built in? It just feels a bit weird floating there. It looks amazing otherwise!
@michellemorales
Жыл бұрын
Yea I feel the same way. I thought when they built the platform they were going to remove the legs. The legs are rad though, so it’s tough, but it looks kind of odd though. Everything else is looking great! Though I would have installed lights inside the top cabinet too.
@Quiteinfamous

@@michellemorales I was thinking the same thing, I think the lights at the top and bottom make the cabinet so dark inside. Also the box below should just be a cool looking cabinet. The feet feel really off and the feet can’t be cut off because that piece is beautiful

that is a fair point, it's gonna be annoying to clean under there too. it'd be super easy just to stain a piece of wood and stick it over it.

@@michellemorales completely agree with you and was thinking the same thing while watching! Even though the legs are beautiful they do feel very off when placed on top of the buttom part. When you inevitably renovate your kitchen, I’d suggest moving the credenza into another room (could make a great dresser!) and re-tiling the whole floor so you have the freedom to knock down those half walls and put in proper lower cabinetry. The vintage upper cabinet and tile are such a vibe though! Great job making it work with second hand materials!!
