So many people drive by these small creeks and simply regard them as “ditches.” That description might be technically correct, but these creeks are a natural stream of water in their origins. They most often contain a whole ecosystem of life, which is totally dependent on the water quality and quantity. In your creek fishing adventures, you demonstrate just how diverse these small creeks can be in terms of fish species. Maybe more of us would benefit from these experiences if we had a video on how you go about finding these small creeks to fish?

I love the videos, man. But the one thing i really enjoyed about the comments today is how man people actually appreciate the scripture you put usually at the end. I appreciate that you stand firm on your faith and share the word with others. God bless, and i hope you have a great year.

All these years later it still fascinates me how there's those beautiful bass in those tiny urban creeks. Up here in Canada those creeks are either polluted or every fish gets killed off during the winter 🤣

This urban video is timely ! Just yesterday my wife and I were traveling north to Lexington. As we went by some drainage ditches, she said "I guess John could catch fish out of that." I said, "Of course !" Later on up the road, she saw a dry area, and said "he probably could catch one out of that one!" I said , Absolutely, and she gave me a strange look ! LOL ! Pap Blevins

This is totally my style dude. I've had so many hobbies, and always gravitate towards my own niche within each. Whatever everyone else is not doing kind of thing... Like climbing campus buildings with full gear and a belayer back in college 🤣 While I always want to be in remote wilderness, I've also always loved the tiny havens you can find mixed into the concrete jungles. People around my area will be shocked to see me fishing the 2ft wide gulch down the street. Trying this week!

Thanks for the inspiration. Been watching so.many videos. Went 1st time to urban creek just south of downtown Chapel Hill NC. It's basically a drainage for when we get flooding waters from Hurricanes like in 96 for Hurricane Fran. 1st time saw small bass and bluegill and red breast. Caught some good slabs on a Rooster Tail. This time took the Whopper Plopper on 20 pound braid. 1st time down big large mouth swiped at it with his tail. 2nd time down he smashed it. 3-4 pound large mouth. Absolutely a chunky bass in a stream the width of a single lane road in 2 feet of water. Shocked that fish was in there

I don't watch the channel a lot anymore. The videos are a lot more frequent and longer then they were when I first started watching and I just don't have the time. This right here... the small creeks and ditches is what drew me to the channel in the first place so I just had to watch this one :) My favorite creek to fish has been ruined and has been unfishable the last couple of years. I'll go take a look at it this upcoming month but I'm not holding out hope for this season. If it hasn't come back yet, I'm not sure it will :(
