I have hard well water and a septic system. Just tried this stuff on a toilet, sink, and bathtub and it's awesome. Stop up your sinks/toilet/bathtub first. It's extremely acidic, use rubber gloves. Also got 1lbs of baking soda to neutralize the acid before flushing. It took about 1/2 cup of baking soda to neutralize the acid in my toilet. You must neutralize the acid before flushing/draining! Can't stress that enough especially if you have a septic system. Neutralizing is very obvious the water gets really fizzy and fun to watch, it takes about 10 seconds there's no reason not to do it. Whinks plus a pumice stone will get your sinks and tubs looking like new. Ultimately the culprit is heavy iron in the water supply getting past your sediment filtration system. Get a better filtration system otherwise this is what you'll have to deal with... again and again and again forever. If this is happening to you then your filter system is not up to par. In order to get my filter up to par it's going to cost me about $400. I can spend that money on a filter system or continually cleaning rust stains forever and messing up the Ph of my septic system. That's life in the country. :/

I’m amazed by your video. We just built a house and have hard water... getting a filter soon but in the mean time... I tried to use it on my clothes and it didn’t work as well as it did in your video. On the bottle it says to get the shirt “damp” first, did you do that? We tried getting the shirts damp and then put the rust stain remover on it and it sat for a few minutes and didn’t take it all out... wondering what I’m doing wrong! Help!

That's the MOST deadly acid known to man...for good reason too. One slip of say, a half cup of this stuff placed improperly on a sink or what have you, and it's curtains for ya. HF will wreak havoc on you MANY years down the line if you don't just have a heart attack within a few days. I think you ought to google dangers of hydrofluoric acid. Great vid, just PLEASE do some research on this stuff and you'll find that a half dollar sized patch of skin coming into contact with it is enough to cause cardiac arrest in some cases. I'd hate to have someone watch this video being all Willy billy with it and end up severely burnt, blind, or worse. I think after watching a vid or two on this stuff, that you'll be shocked when you realize how much PPE is required to even be "around" this chemical. The fumes are even caustic. Cmon people! 🤦🏻♂️

Good point! If this stuff gets on your skin it will absorb into your body and pull the calcium from your bones. The bottle states to use in well ventilated area with a mask and heavy duty rubber gloves. Really makes you think about the importance of following instructions on chemicals like this!

Be VERY careful using this product. If you have any metal parts this will instantly remove any plating or finish. The company will not stand behind any damage done by their product. There are better and safer chemicals out there.
