When I first became a single mom I was working at a waitress at a diner and living on an air mattress my parents floor with my young daughter. I will never forget getting tipped a hundred dollars. They left it on the check and walked out they were so humble about it. That same couple came in and tipped another waitress 100.00 a few months later❤

When I was 18 I was working at target for damn near nothing and was pretty much homeless. I found a lost purse literally with money falling out it. I thought about taking it cause I needed it but decided it wasn’t mine and wasn’t who I am. When I brought it up and returned it she gave me the money saying she had family stuff that was more important in it. I gave the other guys working with me a little too. To keep it going.

When they get those bigger tips I always wonder do they have to pay taxes on it? I don’t know how taxes on tips work. At my job once in a great while we’l get a “cheer card” worth $5. or a safety prize for $50. When they pull your name out of a hat but it goes on your paycheck and they tax you on it.

My worst quality is jealousy. Just imaging the shit I put myself through for a dollar. Working ten times harder than others seeing an obviously we’ll taken care of woman get a hand out just makes me feel bitter. Not only that there’s people all over the world that work harder then me for less. Bicycling an hour to and from work always being the guy that other make do the dirty work and always being the guy that lifts all the heavy shit no matter where I go. What do I get? Back pain in 10 years? And some pretty woman that looks healthy just walks up to a car and boom. $300

Why are you assuming just based off of looks and gender? You think everything in her life is great because she's just a good looking woman? My mother was a very beautiful woman and she worked harder than any man I know to provide for my siblings and I. I'm talking minimum, 2 jobs at a time, one of those being landscaping. And most surprising of all, she did all of this while being drop dead gorgeous. All this to say, what a pathetic way of thinking dude. You are so broke that 300 means that much to you? Maybe improve yourself and stop watching KZitem shorts that make you envious.

Honestly if I was one of the people that delivered your take away to you and got the surprise of spinning the wheel. Whatever it landed on I wouldn’t take the prize and would ask you to give it to the person that you know needs it more than what I would. We took our 3 kids to an Italian restaurant one Friday night and for some reason our kids asked if we could do something that they felt would help someone they could feel was upset or something like that. We said sure what did they want to do and they said could we pay for the older gentleman’s dinner that’s having dinner by himself and we couldn’t believe that they felt like this is something he didn’t know he needed but would let him know that there’s love from strangers that takes a weight off your shoulders and lifts you up to keep living. When I went inside to pay for our dinner I gave the owner of the restaurant enough money for his dinner that night and for the next Friday night as well and with that the owner and the 3 waitress’s all started to either cry or get tears in their eyes. Then they asked if I could get my wife to come in to hear What they wanted to tell us and then they said that he would come in every Friday night with his wife and had done for the last 2 years. Then the waitresses all started crying and my wife said we haven’t done anything wrong and they said no not at all it was that this was the first Friday he had dinner without his wife and I guessed but couldn’t say what I thought and my wife said what did they mean. That’s when the owner said his wife passed Thursday of the week before and he couldn’t go there on the Friday because it was too hard after losing his wife and best friend of 52 years. Hearing that was really heavy but at the same time uplifting because our kids had a feeling he needed some love that night. My wife got upset and said thanks for telling her about how this would help him in this tough time and said she was going back to our kids and all the people that worked there gave her a hug. When I was paying for our meals and gave them the money for his dinners I then asked if they wouldn’t let him know that it was us that did this as it was our kids that felt he needed this. They said he would really won’t to know and they said it would not be told to him and leave it anonymous. When we went back a few weeks later on a Saturday as soon as they saw us walking to the restaurant all the staff came running out and hugged all of us and were crying even the male chefs and had told us what they told him and how he reacted. They first said that he was a bit angry but not because they knew he is a very wealthy man and he could pay for his meal but when he heard the whole story and that 3 young kids had felt he needed something like this so he knew love is still there for him he got emotional and cried because that was the first night he had dinner without his wife and he was really sad and struggling but after they explained everything to him he was crying but happily and couldn’t believe how 3 kids he didn’t even know asked their parents to do this for a complete stranger. He tried to find out who we were asking all the staff and they said they knew us but to keep the feeling he has now in his heart they couldn’t tell him because everything would change then. He said it wouldn’t and that he wanted to ask us to have dinner with him and tell everyone of the family how special they were and they didn’t know how much we had helped him. He never found out who we were and he really tried to find out because he had a real estate across the street and he looked on his cameras and asked all the other places if they could look at their security cameras and see if we had been on their footage. He even got the local newspaper to put an article on the third or fourth page telling everyone of his story and how a family with 3 kids had done this for him and he wanted to see if anyone knew who we were as he wanted to thank us and see what we were like and in a nice way if paying for his dinners made it harder for us financially because we did find out he is a multi millionaire and he never found us and we see him every now and then and that makes us really happy still 12 years later. This was a story I haven’t really shared with a lot of people but thought I’d share it with you and the people that watch you on social media and KZitem.
