As far as modding goes the Tmc or Mission 4 is mod friendly and capable of firing more shots at higher velocities. I will never recommend the LE be disassembled. As a pistol it does serve a completely different purpose.

Never had much luck using 90g in any of my markers so i dont keep too many around. Maybe i can try the dual 12g another day.

Time to break out the metal polish! Split the shells and polish the guts, you will see an increase in efficiency and velocity. I think I drilled the valve a fraction as well.

Yes absolutely but in due time. I like to work through the easiest of things first and trust me i wanted to crack this open the second it came out of the box. Not everyone is ready to split shells.

So it seems like Byrna sells basically the same gun at double the price.

Basically yes. The Byrna model does have a very slick on/off, pop up sights, mag coupler and a carry case. Could you do it cheaper? Some people rather not bother. There is one thing that may be overlooked is that Byrna is marketed as less lethal where as the Tmc is paintball. That may be a problem legally if one were to use it in such manner.

@@lesslethalfordummies if I'm in California and I use the Tippmann TMC on my property or in my house for self defense against a home invader or burglar, would I face criminal charges? VS if I did the same thing with the byrna mission 4?

Byrna bought the patent off Tippman. That's why tippman can't sell the tcr or tmc anymore

@@Save-A-DogAps as far as I know that only applies to the Tcr. The Tmc is alive and well here in Canada. The Tmc and the Tipx are Tippmann biggest money makers these days I can’t see them selling off the rights to either of those guys.

I finally got mine the other day and got a 12g adapter to throw on it to test and with byrna kinetics i was getting high 378-368fps and 19j then 19-20j 348-340fps with amazon 3.7g riot balls i also did a shot count being nice waiting a few secs between shots i got 28 shots out of a 12g pretty impressive imo

Yes these markers are very frugal on air which is great for the pocket book. 19j is impressive out of the box. Nice job 👍🏼

@lesslethalfordummies yes now I just need to order a 88/90g on off and the same stock that byrna uses off of mcs and see what it does I watched most of your other vids on this what do you recommend for the best drive spring and other easy mods you did with yours I know you changed it alot and some things did or didn't work

@@taylorrichter1320for a stock TMC the links in this video are the best combination. Alternatively instead of cutting down a 300mm long spring you can find precut ones at 100mm.

I was thinking. I have the same velocity screw on my cronus. Is it possible to add an external air chamber that screws into that hole? Nothing big, just a bit more air.? Something to ponder on.. Right up your alley..

That isnt a bad idea at all. Might be something ill look into later on once i have rung out every last bit. I know air doesnt move as efficiently at 90° angles but i wouldn’t rule it out. 👍🏼

It is pretty much a 98. Dimensionally some things are smaller but its 98 for all intents and purposes.

From what I understand, the internals of the 98/A-5/Cronus/Stormer/TMC are the same You are paying more for the "bells and whistles."

I do not currently use this setup. Now the co2 is through the grip and tip to retracted butt is 27” with the 12” factory barrel.

As good as the Tmc just constructed with polymer instead of aluminum. Rune actually runs a tuned up Stormer.

At the same time that the riot ball leaves residue in the barrel it seems to shoot harderinstead of my average 340 feet per second. I'm getting 400 then I have to clean my barrel or the Right bull jams

Absolutely it can shoot pepperballs. Blow back marker like this Tmc are much gentler on frangible projectiles then the typical Fsc, Vks, and M17.

@@lesslethalfordummies Also, consider using a hopper if using pepper ammo. Mags use springs to shove the ammo into the chamber. Hoppers use gravity to feed and are more gentle.

Sorry off topic but how do you like your Yong Heng compressor? Would you recommend it and how do you like it as far as reliability comes? I was looking to get one like it too but researching my options first.

I have own two compressors in my day. First was an oiless/waterless that lasted 1.25 years. It was loud and took about 5-7 minutes to fill a 13ci to 3k. I had the Yong Heng for almost two trouble free years. Fills a 13ci in 45secs. No complaints but it isn’t portable.

I have a Yong Heng as well. Owned it for over 3 yrs now. Great compressor . Use the best oil you can find. I use Nuvair 751. makes a big difference on longevity and wear.

@@dnick49 I run royal purple synthetic compressor. Nuvair was also recommended but more difficult to obtain. I hope it will live for many years to come.
