The info here is CRAZY helpful! Thank you so much to Don and the RF Venue team for putting these webinars on KZitem. I can't wait to get out to our next event and implement some of my learnings and find out what the results are!

Some bookmarks for me: The Auto-scan functions just don't do a good job now. They are really handicapped. Five years ago they did, but not now: 21:07 Interference filters 23:15 If you're only using one wireless mic with a whip antenna - use that, but if you have more mics, you need a distro/diversity system: 28:00 Using bandpass filters - put one on the A side and one on the B side: 31:30

If attenuating you antenna signal by 6db helps the receiver, would it not HELP to passively split an antenna to, say.. 3 receivers? The supposed problem with that is db loss, right? But db loss CAN be a good thing?

Hi Victor, You can certainly use an RF Venue CP Beam with a Shure IEM Combiner, And you can use a Shure Antenna with an RF Venue IEM Combiner.

Q: I have 2 iem units in a compact rack setup as a monitoring rig. Is has 2 half wave poles installed on the front of the rack. A combiner might be overkill, but adjusting the antenna placement now means I need to move the whole rack around... Can I just extend these poles with some 50 ohm coax and put them on a mic stand away from the rack?
