The real way to do this is put the cut piece upside down and trace cut it to the flow of the wall. Never cut side to factory.

There’s many ways to cut them in. I use a combination of three or four different ways depending on the situation and size of the job or complexity of the cut. This guy may of had a customer that wants the cleanest possible edge/boarder which is why you put the factory edge to the outside.

@@sidknee4975no customer would know really, but not one of them would ask to put a factory cut to the wall. Straight edge to straight edge and scribe to the wall, always. His method works just needed to put the tile backwards first so on the flip the cut is to the wall.

Its fast but wouldnt work on some tiles as non factory edge would be visible.

Spin the pile so it’s facing the wrong way. Once it’s cut you can spin it back and use the factory edge
