Thanks Chris you helped me way more than the bigger vids out there just saying to stop adding heat. Thanks for the arc length explanation and showing how to set up a gas lens attachment and #12 cup. Bug help.

Fabulous lecture. One of the best(probably the best) lectures on stainless steel welding for beginners/novices. Thank you

These are the ones who come to me, bring in drops, and they can’t stably hold the additive in the weld pool.

What was your stick out length ? Can you show some gas lens profile shots of you running at .01 to .02 arch length ? What was your CFH ? Pre-flow ? Post-flow ? What is the best grind for this weld metal thickness ?

hello am in Australia.. Have a job that has a lot of steel flooring around job site. Laydown of electode a pain. Using a modern small inverter stick welder. Q) anywhere in USA / your company sell a stick electrode holder with ON OFF switch. ? Have never seem one. Only one on www is one for 12 v vehicle welders it seems. Seems a no brainer to have the option? any info appreciated. Has to deal with wide range amps no doubt.
