🇮🇹 SPEAKING ITALIAN
The only thing I didn’t mention was language (speaking Italian). Almost everyone in Venice speaks English, because it’s such a tourist-heavy area, but the locals do like it if you at least know basic phrases. I know most Italian relating to food and enough to have a basic conversation, and they appreciate the effort.
