Great to hear you on about hyper-realistic as opposed to a work of art. Good girl and great work.

I love that you allow us to sell the artwork following your tutorials. Very generous. I’m signing up your academy shortly

Yes, you're right I do allow you to sell the artwork. However you won't be able to enter the artwork created from my tutorials in most competitions or shows because they usually require you to have created your own original artwork so keep that in mind. If you followed my tutorial obviously the artwork originally belong to me so therefore yours wouldn't be original any more. But you're more than welcome to sell the artwork created from the tutorials if you like, just make sure that you include "tutorial by Kirsty Rebecca" in your listing online (or something like that)

Thanks for inviting me on MeWe Lachris Artist Group, I sadly never stumbled across you before. You are really good - sadly it doesn't show in followers (I signed up right now, such talent has to be promoted)

Hi Kirsty Your tutorials are great, I like them very much. It is a beautiful painting. I would like to know whether you use a fixative Regards Christine

Thankyou, I appreciate it 😊 Currently I'm not using fixative because you don't need it on the surface that I'm using However, I did buy some Spectrafix because I did a lot of research and watched some comparison videos, and this one doesn't alter the colour of your work (and it's natural so the fumes aren't so bad!) I plan on giving it a go at some point but I have to to some test runs before trying it on my own work!

Do you ever use fixative?

I have bought Spectrafix for pastels based on a recommendation from Jason Morgan but I'm yet to use it 😅 It's natural and doesn't change the colours much at all! The spray comes in a pump bottle so he pours it into a spray bottle that has a more continuous flow so you don't end up with blotchy areas But you can search "Jason Morgan pastel fixative" and it should come up on KZitem! He has a really in depth video where he's tested a bunch of fixatives 😊
