I’ve observed so many amazing people in the online VSG community, kicking butt and taking names. I’ve also seen many of us struggle. I am always curious to see why some people struggle more than others.
For myself, the past year has been full of major events: surgery, a new job, and a rollercoaster of a love life. It would’ve been easy to just give up completely on my weight loss. And while I did put weight loss on the back burner - I still made it a point to maintain my weight loss within a buffer of 10 pounds. There is no doubt I still have a little ways to go, but in the meantime I plan to maintain my losses so that when I am ready to again - I can pick back up where I left off.
I recorded this with lots of love and in the hope that it helps you if you are struggling with maintenance. We are all told to eat less and exercise more, but life gets in the way and I hope some of these tips help you. This is by no means an exhaustive list, I can go on and on, but these are the things I employ on a regular basis to keep me on track.
