Just wanted to mention you can use a USPS Priority #4 box 7x7x6 for mugs if they fit and can sometimes get you a better rate.

I appreciate all of these tips and tricks you shared! I’ve had a family member pass away and I’ve inherited quite a bit that I would like to try selling…I’ve been trying to figure out how…I think I’ll be learning more from you as I watch more of your videos! Thanks!!!

Thanks for sharing! Just an FYI, bubble wrap is designed to have the flat side against the item being protected and the bubbles facing out. That way if something bumps into the item the bubbles protect it.

I have to say you must live in a really nice area. I've never seen so many neatly organized yard/garage sales.

I don’t think Amazon would come close to your shipping of Barbies! They never bubble wrap and some packers are skimpy with the brown paper. I am sure that buyer will be happy

Can I add one thing when Iam a buyer it’s nice to have a item wrapped in bubbles however if it is breakable it’s super hard to get that heavy tape off to unpack it. It would be better to use scotch tape instead helps prevent any unpacking damage

I think that is fine to do that I would just be worried scotch might not hold as well. I’ve been using this since I’ve started with no complaints and many positive experiences with the packaging. I think safe arrival is the most important.

TS, what's your take on paper tape. The adhesive has to get wet before applying. Also, for really heavy items I use our bathroom scale. Its good up 300 lbs.

I think the paper tape is expensive. This scale weighs up to 80 pounds. Thankfully I haven’t had anything over that and it’s been pretty accurate even for small items just a few ounces.

They should have fit into a padded Flat rate envelope

@Trickytrixie Ah, yes. Those leather shoes look like they would be more susceptible to damage during shipping than sneakers, or other fabric/synthetic shoes. Even if they would fit in a padded flat rate envelope, I would have shipped them in a box as well, just to reduce the chances of damage during shipping.
