dude you have some really neat ideas in this video! that last one where you talked about the 2 buttons at once is low key brilliant! you helped me earlier today with re-calibrating the volume pedal and now I'm gonna have these presets set so tight! great video! THANK YOU!

I currently have a Pod Go which sounds great but is awkward to use for live gigging. I've been closely looking at the manual, watching videos to learn whether the GP200 could meet my gigging needs. But I think it has a major problem. In stomp mode the bottom 4 footswitches can be configured differently in each patch. But as far as I can see, you have to remember what you've set these too because the display only shows A,B,C or D. In a live gigging situation using multiple patches that's simply impossible to remember and unless I'm missing something whereby these can be named or you see the pedals in the display, it makes this feature useless and this a complete deal-breaker for live gigging. Pod Go had a similar issue when it was launched with 'snapshots' and it took 18 months before Line 6 added naming and foot-switch colour coding changes to make these usable in a gigging situation. However, if I've misunderstood this, please please put me straight! Whilst not a deal-breaker, I don't understand why you only have red/yellow colour options for the 4 stomp switches, and if you add a momentary dual footswitch that the on-board up/down can't become additional assignable control footswitches. Valeton seems to be doing regular upgrades so I can only hope this is something they'll realise and fix in future updates.

Yeah that's a bit weird sometimes but I have a way around that. Usually, I set CTRL 1 = PRE Block CTRL 2 = DST Block CTRL 3 = MOD Block CTRL 4 = DLY or RVB Block This way, it is always easier to remember what each is. Also I use the Signal Chain display mode so I also get to see which block is turned on or off

Hi - I’ve just picked up the GP-200 and this is really helpful, so thank you! Would you be able to do a video / explain how to get the best funky wah wah sounds (like on Theme From Shaft by Isaac Hayes)? I’ve had a quick look but I’m not too clear on how to get the best from the expression pedal settings or which Wah pedal works best for that kind of sound. Thanks.

I'll give this a shot. Even though Valeton's Wah Effects aren't the best so far hopefully, they fix it. I love the song tho' my first time hearing

That would be great thanks - I’ve tried out the ‘Funky Wah’ patch and it’s not too bad for an auto wah. Would be useful to control the wah with the foot switch but I agree that they don’t seem too responsive at the moment. Glad you like the tune - it’s a classic in the wah world! Thanks once again.

Good question...you will have to drag them to rearrange them in the software. Unfortunately, Valeton doesn't have a rearrangement feature on the board at the moment but you can do that with the software

So there is no option to use the footswitch to switch between user mode and patch mode?
@calebcadainoo

By default, there's no quick way when u're playing a live event. You can only choose one: Either Patch Mode or Stompbox mode With the user mode, you can combine both Patch n Stopbox mode with just one button press. And that is what I share in this video

Yes so basically, different amps, cone with different vibes and tonal characteristics but sone of them have certain features n tonal qualities in common. Think of it like a Venn-diagram different circles but they meet @ a point sometimes. I used Fender Twin reverb in my case, you cud also recreate similar sound with the Bogner Shiva, you could also recreate with a Badcat amp or even a Vox amp. The 3 band EQ (Bass, Mid & Treble) setting will vary coz of different tonal qualities of the named amps
