Tirana was an amazing city. Albania is truly a unique country.

So much great art from the cathedral to the bunkers. So much history and culture to check out. The millennium gardens looks very nice, what a great place to spend the evening.

Sorry you weren't well. Tirana looks fascinating loved the museum of the secret police. The park and lake look cool. Nice eating at the stadium Japanese/Albanian sushi looks yummy. The bar garden looked like the vibe.

The cat distribution system was at work - that was Sky's kitten! The city had so much pretty scenery, interesting statues, beautiful park. And I wouldn't have expected it to be such a foodie paradise.

Oh she wanted to take it home sooo bad. I had to remind her our AirBnb doesn't allow animals and she was leaving for Portugal the next day 😂.

Wow1 Tirana is definitely a hidden gem. The streets, architecture and and vibrancy is worth visiting for. Love the city tour, fireworks and definitely the food. Thanks for the sharing such a nice place with us

Glad you were able to get well to enjoy the city and bring in the new year. That museum definitely seems like it is deep and rich in history. Definitely somewhere I would love to visit. That edamame looks delicious! I haven’t any in while…adds to grocery list lol.

A few years ago I was in Albania, we didn't stay long in Pristina because it was very crowded, maybe because it was the summer period. Pristina looks like a very interesting place to explore. Bunkart museum is too scary. The food in Albania is excellent and I like Tirana beer. Great presentation!

Interesting that they have a museum to show the history of their time as a communist country. The history needs to be taught. Glad to see Skye with you again. 😊
