Super product. We used it here this spring and had no issue whatsoever in the milking parlour. By far the best and safest piece of equipment we have tried so far. After a few milkings the heifers didn't even know it was on and after a couple of days didn't have to use it. Normally someone would have to climb the rail and hold a tail up. Not the most comfortable for man or beast. Since we got the tail jack only one person needed in the parlour and no stress. One you used it a couple times it only takes seconds to apply or remove. Top product well recommend.

Great practise for Jolene, remembering that humans touching the udder is ok😊 And great for you to get familiar with the device well in advance of calving season. I hope you try the device a couple times on all your girls you are planning to try milking before they calve. Calving is quite stressful so having seen/felt/heard the milky devices beforehand makes things a lot easier. You definitely saw that with Jolene's reaction to the milking machine sound last time😅 If the goats are machine milked, could be a good idea to have prospective milk cows have a turn in the cow stanchion simply listening to the goat milking sounds "in peace" so it's not an unfamiliar sound. My workplace dairy moves heifers to the cow side ~month before calving, plenty time to push them through the parlour on good relaxed days (both for humans and for themself) for the first few times. They will have moved through all the gates, heard all the bangs/squeaks/swooshes, felt the post-milking "teat dip" spray all before they actually need to be milked regularly twice daily EVERY day🐂🐄🐂🐃🐄🐂

That’s a great idea! I hadn’t considered having the heifers around while milking the goats.

Hi guys great channel, love Dexter cattle . I see you have them in a lead , if you stand beside their head with the lead short it makes it easier. It's about head control, works on goats 🐐 as well.

You might be referring to the end of the video. We were walking by a pen with two other cows so she was posturing to show them she was boss.
